Newborn Sittings

I have received many calls from mothers-to-be about when to schedule their newborn sitting. My response is always the sooner the better. Your newborn will be very sleepy the first two weeks of their life. During this period you can capture the cute curled up poses that all new parents love. After about two week your newborn will begin to open his or her eyes more and will not tolerate being posed inside a bucket or in silly hats as easily.I usually suggest making a tentative appointment one week after the due date. I offer newborn sittings at your house or in my home studio. Parents are asked to bring any special blankets, toy, hats, etc. for their sitting. I can coordinate colors or a theme from your child’s nursery into your sitting. Newborn sittings usually last between 2 and 3 hours.

I agree with Rita! The sweet photo of Canon in the basket is my favorite! You have beautiful photos. Very talented.
